CONVENTIONAL PRACTICE
To break and process Steel Skulls and Jams, Drop Balling method is applied using Cranes, Magnets and Drop Balls. This Process has been often found to be inadequate in terms of - efficiency, productivity, safety and environmental aspects.
MLPL RECOMMENDED PRACTICE
Alternate Technology as opposed to Drop Balling, for Breaking and Processing of Steel Skulls & Buttons. Induction and use of Mobile Breakers.
Advantages
- Single Blow Impact energy rivals that of Drop Ball.
- Cycle time is much faster than drop ball so higher productivity by 30% to 200% observed.
- Safety - Flying Debris minimal. If any, maximum carry distance is around 10 ft.
